After 9-11 we pulled together in this country. We all supported our President. At least for awhile. We realized for once that we're all in this together. Whatever the current 'this' happens to be.
After the failed Christmas 09 airline attack the opposite happened. Politicians started criticizing everything our President said and did, even what he didn't say or do.
I believe in the 'top down' idea that what happens at the top affects everyone underneath. So...when our leaders argue and pick a political fight just to hurt the man at the top it damages everyone of us underneath.
We need unity against the muslim extremists. As well as against the bankers giving themselves huge bonuses. To name two of many serious problems we face as a nation.
Let your representative in DC know they need to be in unity against our enemies near and far. Keep the politics out of it.
